Ace Space
Ace Space is a queer group welcoming to all on the aromantic/asexual spectrum!
When: Mondays 6-7pm

Black Queer Students
Black Queer students is a discussion group where black and queer intersectionality, cultural celebration, and life as a college student are at the forefront. Discussion can range from general experiences being a black queer student to how to mobilize for a joint cause on campus, and may veer off into just chatting!

CQA (Campus Queers & Allies) is an LGBTQ+ student group here at UMD. In our weekly meetings, we discuss topics relevant to the queer community, and occasionally host game nights, movie nights, and more!
When: Fridays 5-6pm

The Femme Alignment
The Femme Alignment is a space open to all queer and trans women, as well as gender non-conforming individuals.
When: Every other Tuesday 5-6pm

The Masculine Alliance (formerly Male Identified Queers - MIQ)
The Masculine Alliance is a safe space for queer masculine-identified students to hang out and chat with each other. Join us for serious discussion, fun activities, and everything in between.
When: Every other Thursday 6-7pm

UMD's Jewish LGBTQ+ group on campus is open to all denominations and identities!

Queers with Disabilities
Queers with Disabilities is a new discussion group for those who identify as both queer and disabled meeting. Come join our group to meet new people and explore the intersection between two vibrant communities.

ReBorn This Way
ReBorn This Way is a student group for all queer-identified Christians, including those struggling with or questioning their religious, gender, romantic, or sexual identities.

For transgender students and students questioning their gender. Inclusive of non-binary identities.
Student Organizations on Campus
- Gaysians at UMD: an LGBTQ+ Asian student organization that seeks to create a supportive community for LGBTQ+ Asian students and allies.
- Greek Alliance: a student-run organization that encourages a culture of inclusion for LGBTQIA+ individuals within Greek Life. Greek Alliance also offers workshops to encourage chapters on how to make their spaces more inclusive for queer individuals.
- oSTEM: for LGBTQ+ students in STEM degree programs.
- Pride Alliance: a club supporting and advocating for LGBTQ+ people of the UMD student population.
- QLA: Queer Leadership Accelerator is a club within the Robert H. Smith School of Business established for the purpose of cultivating and equipping queer leaders for professional excellence.
- Queer Crafting: Queer Crafting emphasizes the therapeutic benefits of crafting as a means of reducing stress and anxiety. The club is open to individuals of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced crafters, and provides a space to learn and grow together. Meets 3:30-6pm on Fridays at MICA's Cozy Corner. - Queer and Trans in Public Policy (QTiPP): is a group for those connected to the University of Maryland who are interested in the intersection of the field of public policy, and the LGBTQIAP+/queer communities. Undergraduate and graduate students, including but not limited to those in the School, as well as alumni, are welcome!
- Smith Pride Alliance: an affinity group for LGBTQ+ MBA students in the Smith School of Business.
- WeSkate UMD: a skate club created with the purpose of encouraging more women, non-binary, gender nonconforming, and LGBT Terps to skate! Their goal is to create a safe space in a community that can be very exclusive and intimidating.
